Giving unlimited access to over 100 Xbox titles, including backwards compatible games from the 360-era, Xbox Game Pass will set us back $9.99 a month.
Similar to paid for subscription services like Netflix, titles available through the Xbox Game Pass will change each month, with newer titles from a variety of genres being added into the mix.
Whilst gamers won’t own any games downloaded through the XGP service, they’ll get an discount off the price of the game, should they wish to buy it and call it their own.
The XGP doesn’t require an Xbox Live Gold membership to work, however, any online multiplayer features will be suspended without. In short, to get the full experience of these titles, you’ll need both the XGP and a Gold membership.
Gold members will get first access to the Xbox Game Pass and is expected to launch in Spring, later this year.
