Alongside the highly intensive PVP modes, Trials of Osiris (Destiny 1) and now Trials of the Nine (Destiny 2), raids are the pinnacle of a Destiny player’s campaign, marking the absolute genius in reverse engineering and figuring out each of the individual mechanics a step at a time, whilst usually under heavy fire from hordes of overpowered enemies. Yes, beating any raid in Destiny is usually quite the feat. But to be World’s First is monumental.
Clan “The Legend Himself” did exactly that on Wednesday when Destiny 2‘s first raid, the Leviathan launched. The “The Legend Himself” fireteam, comprised of players; Slayerage, Epicookiez, Dominickx, lil_noah, Skullix, and Eavr, completed the raid only 6 hours after it launched and had Bungie live-streaming their gameplay and cheering them on the entire way.

Once the Leviathan raid had been taken down, Bungie rewarded the Destiny 2 community with a new PVP map named Emperor’s Respite.
Well done to team “The Legend Himself”!
