Recently announced by THQ Nordic, Biomutant combines a traditional post-apocalyptic RPG with elements of martial arts combat, firearms and an extensive crafting system.
Set in a beautiful world many years after our own, you’ll play as cute and (not-so) cuddly anthropomorphised racoon type-critter. Said character will be customisable not only in the colour of it’s fur but with the extensive amount of upgrade-carrying prosthetics you can fuse onto your tiny little body. You’ll also use the help of friendly NPCs in this otherwise dangerous setting to forge and create bizarre and wonderful inventions to aid in navigating the landscape, including paragliders, mechs and jet skis.
Biomutant is being developed by Swedish indie studio Experiment 101, some of whom worked on the Just Cause series and 2015’s Mad Max. Biomutant is penned for a release to Xbox One, PS4 and PC sometime in 2018. For more information, head over to the official Biomutant website.
