In the footsteps of the incredibly successful, Twitch.tv giant, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (otherwise known as PUBG, pronounced “PUB-GEE”), Epic’s wave-based, defence-building, co-op title, Fortnite is receiving a massive online multiplayer mode.
Titled “Battle Royale”, this new mode will pit 100 players against one another on a single map, in an all out brawl to be the last man or woman standing. Of course, it wouldn’t be Fornite if it didn’t still feature the same gathering and building mechanics that featured in the campaign mode.

Fortnite is currently available in paid early access but will be made free-to-play in early 2018.
